A little bit of time wasted there but I was able to load the firmware on all the rest of my devices, with my XP machine, no matter which order I hooked up the device or opened the G1 software. Of course it was the first one I was trying to update and it left me bewildered why my XP machine was not recognizing it. I did figure out that one of the TT685's I was trying to update has a bad USB port because it will not work on either my new laptop or my XP desk top. I even uninstalled the antivirus software, that came with the computer, as that is usually an issue I've had on other computers and still no go. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the G1 software as well as went into the G1 files and reinstalled the USB drivers, all with no luck even though I am getting confirmation that the software and drivers have down loaded successfully. I have tried everything to get this laptop to work with the G1 software and recognize the attached device. I just did numerous Phottix firmware updates a couple of nights ago and had no issues.
